Milan Lucic Leaves Winnipeg

Milan Lucic hopped on a plane this morning, leaving Winnipeg and his team for “personal reasons”. He made the journey from Buffalo to Winnipeg after the Bruins fell 4-2 Friday night.

“It’s personal reasons. He’s gone back to Boston. It’s one of those things that happens every once in a while and we’re all human here,” said Bruins coach Claude Julien. “So he’s gone back to Boston.” (Joe Haggerty reports )

The loss of Lucic brings good news for Jay Pandolfo who is set to play tonight. He has a history on the fourth line, and will play between Thornton and Campbell. Paille is jumping up to the third line and Peverley will be with Horton and Krejci.

These new lines could go either way, but hopefully something will spark and our offense will step up to start getting pucks in net.
